We've had quite a bit of success here at P4D, landing awards for entrepreneurial excellence, office optimus and best of business.

Here's our story.

P4D started up in 2005. Our founder, Stephen Abel, gained national recognition for his entrepreneurial flair only a few years later when he won a prestigious Young Guns 2008 award. The awards are judged by Growing Business Magazine, the UK’s most popular magazine for entrepreneurs.

The Young Guns 2008 panel were impressed with Stephen’s business acumen and his ability as an entrepreneur to take advantage of a gap in the parcel delivery market. Growing Business Magazine editor, James Hurley, said: “We were impressed with Stephen’s ability to differentiate his offering by developing ground-breaking technology."

In the same year, Stephen was also Highly Commended in the Innovation Award for the Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards. “We work very hard to make sure we offer a good service to our consumer and business customers and that is being borne out in the versatility of our software and the recognition it is getting from professional organisations like The Business Magazine. It’s a very pleasing moment for everyone at the company and serves to inspire us for the future,” said Stephen at the time.

He couldn't have built the business without Office Manager, Kerrie Clifton, who Stephen nominated for the national Office Heroes 2009 award - Kerrie is now officially one of the UK’s top-five most valued employees. Office Heroes, an initiative from Growing Business and Brother UK, officially recognised the most dedicated and hard-working employees across the UK’s small business community.

Phil Jones, Sales and Marketing Director from Brother UK, said: “Kerrie is a model Office Hero – someone for whom nothing is too much trouble and who continually goes beyond their daily duties. Behind every great business is someone just like Kerrie and her contribution to P4D and British business as a whole deserves to be recognised.”

P4D has a fantastic reputation for excellent customer service and the 2011 'Best Of' Awards helped demonstrate this. Nearly 400 P4D customers voted for us and offered positive testimonials about our service. We were voted Most Loved Business in Banbury, Most Loved Courier in the country and 14th Most Loved Business overall.
