Every time you place an order with P4D we'll give you the option to Round Up Your Pound for our nominated charity, Hands off our Horton. They are fighting to keep the Horton Hospital alive; P4D's HQ is in Banbury so this is close to all of our hearts. When we tell you what your order total is we'll give you the option to round it up to the nearest pound and, if you say yes, we'll give the spare pennies to Hands off our Horton. You can watch the gift grow in real time, right here.
You've helped us raise tens of thousands!
Round Up Your Pound launched in May 2012 and in less than three years you helped us raise more than £15,000 in small change for 16 different charities. Thank you!
From 27th October 2016 Hands off our Horton is the nominated P4D charity and everything we raise will go to them in support of their campaign work.
More about our nominated charity
From their website http://www.keepthehortongeneral.org:
Keep the Horton General (KTHG) is pressing ahead with its legal challenge against the decision by Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust (OUHFT) last Wednesday to suspend Consultant led Maternity services at the Horton General Hospital in Banbury. After discussion with our legal advisors, Leigh Day, KTHG will again write to the Trust in order to persuade it to put on hold any suspension of services until it has properly consulted the public.
We are raising money to contribute towards our campaign costs involved in the legal challenge including the removal of the Special Care Baby Unit, without sufficient public consultation, to the detriment of the large catchment of residents.
Keith Strangwood, Chairman of KTHG, said ‘We are following Leigh Day’s advice that the Trust has failed to lawfully involve patients in these changes. Expectant mothers and their babies, as well as their families, are set to be significantly impacted. We are committed to this legal challenge in the interests of the whole community’.
