Dynamic Parcel Distribution, also known as DPD delivery services, is a global logistics company based in mainland Europe but with bases and operations across the world, with 500 depots in 40 different countries. It began offering delivery services in 1977 and has expanded steadily since, now delivering around 2 million packages every day. DPD delivery services have acquired a wide variety of other regional logistics firms but are in themselves majority owned by GeoPost Ltd, a subsidiary of the French courier company, La Poste. These increased operations mean that DPD is one of Europe's leading parcel delivery services, especially in business-to-business, or B2B, transit.

DPD Delivery Review
DPD has two parallel paths of history, one in a global sense that follows the fortunes of the company as a whole, while the other is that of the British courier services that were gradually incorporated into and now form a crucial part of DPD delivery operations. The latter began life as Courier Express, founded in 1970 and changed to Parceline in 1984. It was bought by La Poste in 2000 and brought into the DPD brand eight years later. In the same year, the Irish parcel service Interlink was also added to the DPD range. There has been great investment in the British arm of the operation, within DPD London and also including the opening of a new 'superhub' at Oldbury in the West Midlands. Throughout the UK, DPD works alongside its sister company, Interlink Express, which specialises in swift delivery services for small and medium enterprises.
DPD Delivery Tracking
DPD has built up an extensive and positive reputation on a number of key principles and a wide range of varied and tailored services. Within the UK, they offer four distinct delivery options to choose from, depending on the urgency of your package and your related budget; these range from 10am the next day, to Two Day services. In addition, they offer three Saturday delivery options. There are also a number of international DPD delivery services to choose from, which allows for smooth logistics for global traders, as well as a 'Special Services' team who are dedicated to dealing with unusual or especially urgent deliveries. All these options contribute to DPD's broad commitment to customer satisfaction and there are a number of helpful services, all available online.
