How are my parcels handled in transit?
All courier companies use automated sorting equipment in their depots to sort parcels and direct them to their correct delivery point. Because of this, you must make sure your goods are packaged properly and protected against their journey along conveyor belts. We cannot recommend that you send fragile goods like glass via a courier service, if you do it is at your own risk.
In the UK, for example, courier companies have depots all around the country, but the route for your parcel may not be a straight A-B. Your parcel may go up the country to one hub, then back down to another before it gets on the right delivery route for its destination.
