What is an API?
If you run an online shop, an API (Application Programming Interface) can be used to integrate your online sales and shipping, so not only do you save on shipping with P4D you can also cut your admin time right down.
If you know how to use it, an API means no more manual entry of addresses once the sale has gone through, simply let P4D retrieve all the information you need to ship your parcels quickly and easily. APIs work whether it's eBay, Etsy or an online shop that uses a shopping cart like Zen Cart, OS Commerce, CubeCart or a bespoke MySQL database.
Essentially, an API allows our database to talk to yours, so you can provide real-time shipping information to your customers, which comes from us, but shows itself on your website. It is a technical device, so you'll need to be familiar with APIs yourself to add it, or know someone who can do it for you.
If you send more than ten parcels a day on average then a P4D Pro account is also for you, offering even bigger discounts on your parcel shipping prices.
