This is a documents service for papers only. Your documents must weigh 1.5kg or less when packaged and be 40cm x 30cm x 5cm or smaller in size.

Package your documents in a cardboard envelope, not paper, so they can withstand transportation within a large courier network (?). Measure the dimensions for your envelope in the same way as you would measure a parcel, using 1cm for anything less than 1cm in size.

P4D POST is only available from our Banbury office. Book online and drop it into us, from £1.50 per item.

    Getting a parcel quote online

Ireland is relatively small, compared to other countries within the EU, so when sending a parcel to Ireland it is only necessary to use a postcode when sending a parcel to the capital Dublin. Other towns and cities like Cork, Galway, Limerick, Wicklow, Sligo and Ennis don't require a postcode on shipping parcels. Despite this, whether you are using a next day urgent courier or standard Irish postal service there is a still a need to mark your address clearly along with the senders details to ensure there is no misunderstanding or delays.

Northern Ireland remains part of the United Kingdom and so adopts postal services used there. The Republic of Ireland is its own separate entity and as a result searching the internet can offer cheaper delivery rates and discounts on Irish parcel shipping.

Choosing the right parcel delivery service

Like any country in the EU it is important to choose the right service to meet your parcel requirements and then also comply with packaging and label guidelines. In essence these are broadly similar as it is necessary to use appropriate packaging and clear labelling on all items.

Parcel delivery companies online will be able to offer you alternatives to traditional postal methods using a range of courier services at a range of different speeds. Often you can get an enhanced service for the same price as a cheap delivery rate so it is wise to shop around.
