We've had quite a bit of success here at P4D, landing awards for entrepreneurial excellence, office optimus and best of business. Our team is made up of dependable characters who continue to strive for growth and excellency. Here are a few of our highs along the way...
Supply Chain Awards Finalist
In 2012 the rapid growth of P4D was recognised and we were judged by presidents and directors of Tesco, M&S, John Lewis, ASDA and Dixons in The BiS Henderson Third Party Logistics Provider of the Year award. As an innovative business finding new solutions for delivery, they listed us as a finalist in the Retail Week Supply Chain Awards, which is high praise in the industry.
Good Web Guide Recommended Site
In 2012 we were also featured in The Good Web Guide. They turn away hundreds of suggestions every month for recommended websites, but the feedback we receive most often is how easy our website is to use and they agreed with this. They described us as "beneficial for small businesses" and say "P4D is so easy to use, you will wonder how you ever lived without it".
Most Loved Courier Award
Over the years, P4D has gained a strong reputation for excellent customer service and the 2011 'Best Of' Awards helped demonstrate this. Hundreds of P4D customers voted for us and offered positive testimonials about our service. We were voted Most Loved Courier in the UK and Most Loved Local Business in Banbury, where we are based.
Growing Business Office Hero Award
Office Manager, Kerrie, is officially one of the UK’s top-five most valued employees. She was nominated for the national Office Heroes 2009 Award. Phil Jones, Sales and Marketing Director from Brother UK, who were part of Office Heroes said: “Behind every great business is someone just like Kerrie and her contribution to P4D and British business as a whole deserves to be recognised.”
Thames Valley Business Magazine Award
In 2008 P4D was Highly Commended in the Innovation Award for the Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards, thanks to our Chief Geek and MD, Chris. “We work very hard to make sure we offer a good service to our consumer and business customers and that is being borne out in the versatility of our software and the recognition it is getting from professional organisations. It’s a very pleasing moment for everyone at the company and serves to inspire us for the future,” said Steve at the time.
Young Guns Award
P4D started up in 2005. Our founder, Steve Abel, gained national recognition for his entrepreneurial flair only a few years later when he won a prestigious Young Guns 2008 Award. The Young Guns panel were impressed with Steve's business acumen and his ability as an entrepreneur to take advantage of a gap in the parcel delivery market. They said: “We were impressed with Stephen’s ability to differentiate his offering by developing ground-breaking technology."
